Langford Trolley Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can groups ride the Trolley?
A: Most definitely, yes! Large groups please call us at 250-478-7882 to give advance warning and allow us to best accommodate your group.
Q: Is payment required to ride?
A: No, all fares are by donation only.
Q: Are pets allowed on the trolley?
A: No, for the comfort of all riders as some people may suffer from allergies. The only exception is for service dogs, which we happily welcome aboard.
Q: Is there a space for bikes?
A: Yes, there is room for 2 bicycles on the front of each bus, the same system as BC Transit uses. Please, ask the driver for help if you are unsure how to secure your bike.
Q: Can people bring strollers on board?
A: Yes, we have room for one stroller on each of the busses.
Q: I have left something on the trolley. How can I get it back?
A: Please inform the trolley driver, of what the item was and when it was lost or call City Hall a 250-478-7882.
Q: Where can I get a schedule?
A: The schedules can be found at City Hall front counters, on the Trolley Bus, or on our website from which schedules can downloaded and printed.
Q: Can I eat and drink on the Trolley?
A: We ask that riders please do not eat or drink on the Trolley. Drivers are not equipped to clean up accidental spillage of food and drinks. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Q: Can I rent the Trolley?
A: Yes, you can apply to rent the trolley, at $100.00/hr, for your special event. Please contact us to determine eligibility for further details at 250-478-7882.
Q: Can the Trolley pick me up/drop me off at a Trolley non-designated stop?
A: The drivers will try their best to accommodate such requests if the stop is along the route. Safety and traffic laws are taken into account when making these decisions. Each pick up and drop off time at a Trolley non-designated stop can be estimated by determining the appropriate interval from the schedule. Please understand that the drivers will do their best to accommodate stops but that drop-off and pick-up cannot be guaranteed.
