The City of Langford's award-winning Planning Department is key to Langford's future development, commercial and residential, as they manage all land use, parks, planning and zoning issues in the City.
The Planning Department serves Langford residents by overseeing development permit and development variance permit applications, as well as rezoning and Official Community Plan Amendment applications, temporary use permit applications, Agricultural Land and Forest Land Reserve applications, and strata-title conversions.
Planning Staff are available for in-person inquiries at City Hall and by phone.
The Planning Department is headed by the City Planner who directs two Senior Planners, two Planners and the Planning Assistant.
