With the assistance of Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Microsoft, Langford City Hall has not only condensed its need for physical document storage and increased the ease by which City staff are able to retrieve documents, but also made City Hall more environment-friendly by drastically reducing its paper usage.
When physical paper copies of documents are needed, City staff use HP Multi-Function Printers as part of the solution arrived at by City Hall and HP. To effortlessly integrate the departments and processes of the municipality, Microsoft SharePoint is used to store, categorize, and transfer information securely.
