Leigh Road Trail
Leigh Road Trail is the scenic way to get from Downtown to Langford Lake.
From around Spencer Junior Secondary school on Goldstream Avenue, Leigh Road Trail extends down to the boat launch on the shore of Langford Lake. Fishers, hikers, swimmers and boaters use this multi-purpose float on a year-round basis.
From the boat launch, you can choose to walk to the Ed Nixon Trail and continue on around Langford Lake, or stop there and go for a swim. If you cross the rail tracks, you can travel down the Cy Jenkins Trail to enjoy the beach at Glen Lake. Cy Jenkins also connects to the Galloping Goose Trail which runs from Sooke to Sidney.
