Ed Nixon

Ed Nixon Trail follows the southwestern curve of Langford Lake and guarantees to delight residents and visitors alike.

The tranquil path runs along the bank of Langford's largest lake until it reaches the floating viewing platform and popular fishing dock. From here you can watch as ripples from kayakers' paddles lap the shore while you wait for the trout to bite. Later, stroll across the marsh at Langford Lake's western end via a long boardwalk that protects the marshlands below and allows you to peer into the tall grass for wildlife.

Ed Nixon Trail is one of the City of Langford's largest trails and runs from City Centre Park to where Goldstream Avenue meets the Trans-Canada Highway in the west. Explore every metre and enjoy Langford's natural beauty. Ed Nixon Trail connects to the Leigh Road Trail from Goldstream Avenue and to Happy Valley across the Cy Jenkins Trail.
