Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans' Memorial Park is Langford's largest urban park and site of many of the City's yearly festivals and events.
At the centre of the park is a cenotaph to the men and women of the Canadian Forces who have given their lives in the line of duty, and where Langford holds its yearly Remembrance Day ceremonies.
For everyday use and community events, the Park has a playground with swings, a basketball court, and a large gazebo for family picnics. A water fountain by the cenotaph and a lush garden add a peaceful ambience to the Park. For Langford's most musical events, there is a bandstand ready to house an orchestra.
The City of Langford invested in Veterans' Memorial Park's construction as part of the City's ongoing effort to beautify the Downtown core, home to chic condos and small businesses.
