The City of Langford continues to create viable, environment-friendly transportation options, and bike routes are one aspect of this goal. To this end, the City has invested in creating an extensive Trail system and dedicated bike routes to make Langford as accessible as possible to health- and environment-conscious West Coasters.
Dedicated road lanes are a positive way to include bicycles into regular city traffic. In Langford, bike lanes are concentrated along major corridors: Goldstream Avenue (between Veteran's Memorial Parkway and Leigh Road), Peatt Road (north of Goldstream Avenue), Phipps Road (south of Station Avenue), Station Road, Jacklin Road (south of Goldstream), and Treanor Avenue (west of Millstream Rd).
