Once you find your way to Langford located on Vancouver Island, in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada you may not want to leave our beautiful, growing community. But you have to get here first. Here are various ways to get to Langford:
Victoria International Airport is 32 kilometres (19 miles) north of Langford, but highways make travel to the city quick and easy.
From Victoria International Airport, exit south onto Patricia Bay Highway, travel until Exit 7 Nanaimo/Sooke, and veer right onto McKenzie Avenue. From McKenzie Avenue, turn right onto Trans-Canada Highway 1 until Exit 14 Langford/Sooke/Highlands. Remember to stay on the left fork which will loop around onto Millstream Avenue/Veterans' Memorial Parkway. Travel south until Goldstream Avenue then turn right into downtown Langford.
BC Ferries at Swartz Bay Terminal is 37.5 kilometres (23 miles) north of Langford, but highways make travel to the city quick and easy.
Swartz Bay Terminal exits south directly onto Patricia Bay Highway. Travel south until Exit 7 Nanaimo/Sooke, and veer right onto McKenzie Avenue. From McKenzie Avenue, turn right onto Trans-Canada Highway 1 until Exit 14 Langford/Sooke/Highlands. Remember to stay on the left fork which will loop around onto Millstream Avenue/Veterans' Memorial Parkway. Travel south until Goldstream Avenue then turn right into downtown Langford.
The City of Langford is bisected by Trans-Canada Highway 1, Vancouver Island's main transportation artery.
Trans-Canada Highway 1 runs from downtown Victoria to Nanaimo and travels through the urban south Island region and the gorgeous Cowichan Valley. Highway 1 travels through the middle of the City of Langford with the city centre south of the Highway and Millstream Village to the north.
Patricia Bay Highway (BC Highway 17) travels south from Swartz Bay Terminal to downtown Victoria through Sidney and Saanich. "Pat Bay" Highway connects to Highway 1 via Exit 7 which travels straight into the City of Langford.
Veterans' Memorial Parkway (BC Highway 14) is perpendicular to Highway 1 and runs through Langford to Sooke and on through to Port Renfrew on the West Coast.
BC Transit has a few bus routes to Langford, the main one being the #50 route which travels from downtown Victoria to Goldstream Avenue and finishes at the Langford Exchange. There are also several full bus and community bus routes within Langford.

The Galloping Goose Trail connects cyclists and hikers from throughout the Capital Region to the City of Langford. The trail runs through south-central Langford and along the southern tip of Glen Lake.
